FOR REFERRING PROVIDERS

Thank you for considering Sora Psychiatry.

I believe that every patient deserves the time to tell their story. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms or medications, I take an integrative approach that considers the biological, psychological, social, and lifestyle factors influencing mental health. Together, we develop an individualized treatment plan that aligns with each patient's goals and values.

I view referring clinicians as partners in care. Whether you're a therapist, primary care physician, OB-GYN, or another healthcare professional, my goal is to support the work you're already doing and provide patients with seamless, collaborative psychiatric care.

What Makes Sora Psychiatry Different

Thoughtful Medication Management

Medication is never viewed as the only answer. Every recommendation is individualized, evidence-based, and made through shared decision-making.

Longer, Unhurried Appointments

Patients are given the time to feel heard, ask questions, and fully understand their treatment options.

Integrative Psychiatry

Treatment extends beyond medications alone and may include discussion of:

  • Sleep

  • Evidence-based supplements

  • Nutrition

  • Exercise

  • Stress management

  • Lifestyle habits

  • Lab Testing

Collaborative Care

With patient consent, I communicate closely with therapists and referring clinicians to ensure we are working toward the same goals.

Patients I Commonly Treat

  • Anxiety Disorders

  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

  • Depression

  • ADHD

  • Bipolar Disorder

  • Trauma-Related Disorders

The Referral Process

Step 1
-Patients may self-schedule online or contact the office directly. If you'd like to discuss whether Sora Psychiatry would be a good fit for a patient or have questions about a referral, please call the office or leave me a voicemail. I'll return your call as soon as possible.

Step 2
-I complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and develop an individualized treatment plan.

Step 3
-With the patient's permission, I communicate my assessment and recommendations back to the referring provider so we can continue working together.

A Note to Therapists

Therapy and psychiatry are most effective when they work together. My goal is not simply to prescribe medication, but to help patients engage more fully in the important work already happening in therapy. I value the expertise of therapists and strive to be a responsive, collaborative partner throughout treatment.
